most color mug are made of stoneware, cause it firing temperature is lower,also, avoid white edges on dark color mugs, like handle / rim of mug, which will affect the apperearance。
The firing temperature is around 1150 ~ 1180 degrees C.
stoneware mug is suitable for dishwashers machine, but not recommended for use in microwave.

New bone china mug is porcelain mug, but no bone ash composition。
The firing temperature is around 1200 ~ 1280 degrees C.
porcelain mug is suitable for dishwashers /microwave machine.
